The Al-Qadisiyah Journal for Engineering Sciences (QJES) is an official scientific, open-access, and peer-reviewed journal established in 2008. Sponsored by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the journal is published in both online and hard copy formats by the College of Engineering at the University of Al-Qadisiyah. QJES is dedicated to advancing the engineering field by providing essential reference materials and critical feedback on both basic and practical contributions, encompassing comprehensive experimental, theoretical, and computational analyses.
 
To ensure the highest standards of scientific integrity, all submissions to QJES undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by leading experts from both inside and outside Iraq. The final decision to accept or reject a manuscript rests entirely on the evaluation, impressions, and constructive comments of these editorial and advisory board members. Through this strict vetting process, the journal maintains its reputation as a reliable and high-quality outlet for well-conducted engineering research.
 
The journal features a structured and specialized scope, accepting original research papers across diverse engineering disciplines. Its primary subject areas are strictly focused on Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
