The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Journal (BSMMUJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access medical publication managed by the Bangladesh Medical University (formerly known as Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Adhering to the international guidelines of ICMJE and COPE, the journal functions under a Continuous Article Publishing (CAP) model and releases four issues every year in March, June, September, and December. It aims to advance human health knowledge by publishing multidisciplinary papers, including original research articles, review articles, case reports, and short commentaries, with all publication costs fully funded by the university.
